Cannoli Joe’s is proud to have sponsored such a noble cause. We had a great time putting on a wonderful show. Chef Bob recreated an abbreviated version of his cooking class, demonstrating the technique behind his delicious Shrimp Agnolotti.

State Senator Kirk Watson visits Cannoli Joe’s

State Senator Kirk Watson addressed the Oak Hill Business and Professional Association March 4 th at Cannoli Joe’s. The OHBPA meets regularly at the restaurant and we appreciate their continued business. We also host regular meetings of local Rotary Clubs as well.

Wonderful Comment from First Time Guest

I was pleasantly surprised to open a recent email from a first time guest detailing what a wonderful experience she had at Cannoli Joe’s.

Upon leaving Cannoli Joe’s on Sunday night, I took your card so that I might could email you about my visit.

I just want you to know that my friend and I had a nice experience at your restaurant on Sunday.
We enjoyed the food and were very pleased with the room where we were seated. It was our first visit to Cannoli Joe’s.

What took our experience from good to great was our waitperson.
She was a delight. Her manner was wonderful, attentive, and helpful.
She was so nice, always smiling, very aware of our drink levels, our plates, napkins, extra silverware, etc.
Also she was complimentary of the owners and her experience as an employee when I asked. (I was excited to know you are a locally owned business.)

I think in a buffet restaurant where the waiter has limited opportunity to up-sell or suggest add on items to the table, she was more willing and attentive than
people who have waited on me in places where the ticket was higher and the opportunity was greater. That to me stood out and was a refreshing experience in human interaction.

As a person who has managed many employees, I know it’s nice to know about the good as well as the bad; and it’s often reassuring to know
there are things that go right as too often we hear about the things that go wrong.

I hope you will take the time to let her know her good work was noticed.

We will be back.

We love this type of feedback! It is true that in the service industry we tend to hear a disproportionate amount of negative recounts of unpleasant visits. When we have someone praise a staff member, and the restaurant in general, in such an honest, sincere, and unsolicited manner it makes all the hard-working and dedicated employees feel completely appreciated.

A warm and sincere thank you to all of our guests who have ever provided feedback, both positive and negative. Without this type of communication between our guests and the management it would be difficult to know when we are on the right track. We truly appreciate it!

Introducing Cannoli Joe’s Cooking Classes

We did our first test run of a new experience we’re going to begin in the next few months here at Cannoli Joe’s, Cooking Classes with Chef Bob. We will be serving 3 courses, each paired with a wine, and taught to whoever would like to attend. Chef Bob will go over all of the techniques and history of the dishes he will be serving as well as the different wines that will accompany them. This first class went over extremely well and we are excited about this new opportunity for our guests to enjoy Cannoli Joe’s and really get a personal experience with our culinary delights, and they get to take home recipes! Our guests also really enjoyed Bob’s stories of his funny and wild culinary adventures.

Cotton Candy Every Weekend Dinner!

We introduced our cotton candy machine to our Cannoli Fans last weekend for Valentine’s Day and everyone has been enjoying it!

We will have cotton candy available every weekend dinner! The flavors will rotate on a daily basis, so stay tuned to the blog, Twitter or Facebook for the flavor of the day. Today we have strawberry and this has become an instant favorite of the staff. So come on down and bring the kids or just your sweet tooth and enjoy this new addition to our ever expanding repertoire. We’ll see you soon!

Hey Cannoli Fan’s we are still enjoying the glow of a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend! Thank you to everyone that came out and spent it with us.

We had the cotton candy machine going on Sunday and we will be continuing that as an addition to our weekend menu!
